19 year old rendering of a 5 gen Camaro, not to bad looking>
I am not sure if this post belongs here but here we go...
Some of you may of seen this (I am usually late reading news etc.) I thought this was a pretty good article from Popular Hot Rodding about a 19 year old taking a shot at drawing a 5th gen Camaro.
It really does not look that bad, GM should take some notes. Also, if it would cost 25-30k it would really smoke Mustang sales.
Yea we all can say this or that does not look perfect about it, but it does catch your eye and is not half bad.
Take a look...
If this is old news sorry.

All I can say is, WOW, that is by far the baddest, sweetest rendering I have seen thus far... I would love to see something like that on the roads.......

Sorry, but I am not too fond of the design... The flat front looks too Mustangy...
But, it may grow on me... So you never know, i may just go ahead and buy one... one day..

I like it A lot, but what is with the 20" wheels on all of these Gen 5 prototypes? Yeah they look sweet but that will never happen.

It's not the flat front end that is throwing the car off in the Mustang direction...
It is the grille. Camaro never had a grille quite like that... It's Mustang style all the way though.
IMO the retro look tied into modern cars is great.
If I wanted a 69, I would buy a 69, but on the other hand, if I wanted the same old, same old, I would buy a 4th gen.
I think retro is cool. It lets you know where the car came from, yet you are getting state of the art on all the details.
