MYSTIC calipers for a MYSTIC Z. What you do you think?
Well Im tring to do an all black/mystic clean look. So, since black doesn't stand out very well, I painted my calipers as close to the color of my car as possible, and the fade turned out really well! But im still not sure. The pics HONESTLY don't do any justice. What do you guys think?
Here is a basic idea of my car... (and i already chanded the ugly tips. )

Yeah pewter would definately look good on your car! And I got them from a company that sells on ebay, even though I didn't actuall purchase them on ebay. You have to call them in order to get them. I just honestly remember the name. Ill have to look at reciepts or something..

Here is what I did:
1. Strip and sand down calipers.
2. Mask surrounding area.
3. Base coat was Dupli-color Metalcast Ground Coat. (2 coats)
4. Next was the Metalcast Yellow. (1 medium-wet coat)
5. This is the tricky part. You have to use the ground coat again to "sprinkle" silver flakes over the yellow. This it what you use to cause the fade you want.
6. Now for the Metalcast Blue. This turns the remaining yellow to a darker green and the silver flakes blue, resulting in a fade, like the Mystic paint. (2 medium-wet coats)
7. Apply decals
8.Duplicolor High-heat with Ceramic clear, 3 wet coats.
I have been using the Metalcast for a couple years now and have never had any problems, even on brakes. Hope this helps you!

Thanks^^^
And I went outside and snapped a pic with my phone real qiuck just to show how close it is to my car. Neither my car nor calipers fade well due to the lack of sunlight. Hope you can see the similarity, its a pretty crappy pic. But like I said, ill take GOOD ones when it is sunny.
