I just masked off the vents, and the dash pad area, and the windsheild and all surrounding areas i taped newspaper on so as to avoid overspray, then cleaned it up with paint thinner/alcohol, and sprayed it right in the car.

Too bad I broke the one in my 93 into 32 pieces and threw them away. I think it would have been one hell of a puzzle to try and put it back together. I cracked the one in my 95 trying to mock up the gauge pods for my 93 in it. It is split into three large pieces. I am thinking of taking this challenge on.

I have been doing custom auto interiors for over 8 years and have to say the spray can glue is junk. The only glue that will work and will hold almost permanetly is an adheshive made by DAP. It is called DAP Landau Top Adheshive and is only sold professionally. It is a contact cement and has to be sprayed to both surfaces after the surfaces have been prepped with laquer thinner and even better when using a light grit sandpaper. I have never had a customer complaint from the adheshive releasing. It is applied with a spray gun hooked to a pneumatic line from a compressor. If you can locate some of this adheshive it is the best on the market bar none.

To start, remove the plastic trim pieces from the A pillars. Then use something flat to pry up along the edge of the dash pad where it meets the dash. There are four tabs holding it in, they are pretty tight, I wasn't able to remove the dash pad without breaking a couple of them, but if you take your time you might be able to get all of them. There are velcro pads along the windshield side of the dash pad, they should come loose more easily than the tabs.
