All of windows are tinted 5% except the front windshield and t-tops. I don't know how true this is but one place I went said tintind the t's were bad but thats not the reason I didn't do it. Just ran out of moolah.

lol did they tell you why it's bad? i read everyone going back and forth about how the tint keeps the car cool vs. the tint draws more sun thus making it hotter but i dont see why else it would be bad lol.

I tinted everything 5% except for the the windshield and there is no doubt that it is cooler in the car. I live in Texas and it keeps pretty hott down here. And yes you can still see out of the t-tops during the day.

I want the shades. driving at 130pm going south is BRIGHT! i have to use my visor to shade my eyes.

and don't t-tops come off giving you that free feeling?

id prefer the t-tops werent made out of glass. maybe fiberglass. taking them off gets you that free feeling. otherwise the shades are always in mine. keeps it really cool and dark inside.

I too have my t-tops tinted 5% (although the rest of the windows are only 35% or 20% i forget which) and it definately keeps the interior cooler. i had them done in AZ after my original dash pad cracked due to the interior getting too hot. i rarely used the shades and i like the tint look. contrary to what you mgiht think, you can still see pretty well out of the tops even with 5% at night if you so desire.

when i got mine done the guy tint place said he heard that can cause the tops to crack and would only do them for cash and no warranty, but i busted that myth when i checked here and a few other places like camaroz28.com and found that the stock t-tops are rated to 4000 degrees. if my car gets to 4000 degrees, i don't want to be anywhere near it, lol.

(ignore the weird discoloration on the roof/tops/spoiler. that is dew)
