Went to town on my new paint...wet sand/buff
(I'm still not done, I still have to sand & buff the front/rear bumpers & tail panel)
I spent A LOT of time working on taking the orange peel off of my 'fresh' paint job. (painted at the end of OCT)
1500 & 2000 wet sand...
I first experimented on the passenger qtr so it's had already been 1500/2000 wet sanded & wool pad/medium compound then foam pad/glaze...it still needs to be hit with the egg carton/swirl remover (the entire car still needs this)
almost done, I'll get better pics this weekend when I wash it:

Are you talking about the cowl stripes? If so they're flat black.
Yes the window was inspired by the new ZR1.

They were painted PXR to match my paint.
* sanded down
* etching primer
* base coat
* clear coat
I had them painted when I first bought them at the of '03 (new)...but they were painted regular black to match my old paint code.
