Default SSR Integrals on a SS? Also new to the board

Hi guys,
I'm relatively new to this board, so hello!

I'm in the market for some new wheels for my 35th LE, and am considering the 18" SSR Integral that I found on www.tirerack.com.

Anyone have these, or pics of these on a SS?

Hey Jon.. there was a guy over at LS1.com in the Western section named Geoffrey... I believe he had these on his car.. I will page him for you and get you a picture (assuming he has a digital one)..

I think I saw that. He went with the SSR GT3's or something like that in 19's i think?
Those look great, but I they're like $550 a wheel! Ouch! Have you seen the SSR Integrals?
Check them out at www.tirerack.com and let me know what you think. Think I'm doing those in 18X9's. I was contemplating the same Z06 combo you have, but I think on a Red SS with Silver Stripes down the middle, I already draw enough attention to me... especially from black and whites

Yea, but he HAD the SSR Integrals on it before (in 18")

He is supposed to be digging up a picture.. they looked good on his car when he had them.. I would still be partial to shiny wheels on your car.. chromed or since you dont drive it much polished billet wheels.. they are actually very reasonably priced

Thanks Steve!
I'm still 50/50 between the SSR's and chrome Z06's.
The chrome would match my hood scoop insert, but may be a bit too much shine. The silver/grey of the SSR's will match my stripes, and tone down the car a bit. And the SSR's are racer looking, which I like.

I want to go with an aluminum motif for my interior/ opposed to the carbon fiber look you have going. That way I can match my shift ****, pedals, heater controls, air vents, door sill plates, etc etc. www.mbaproducts.com here I come!!

Thanks again for the pics Steve. I think i'm more leaning towards the SSR's for sure.

I like the SSR's besides Red needs the chrome wheels less than Pewter does.. Also the Z06 rims would be more common than the SSR's... Oh, and lets not forget easier to clean

Red - black & Silver (accents) would be perfect for your car..

Now paint them calipers red and toss on a set of the brushed silver Camaro letters

Exactly Steve!
I really like the idea of Red and silver/aluminum accents for my car too

I posted about the painted calipers, and brushed/silver camaro script. Where do I get?

I think i'm really going with the SSR's too.
Thanks for all your help steve!

I like the ssr gt3 but when I spoke to Tirerack they told me they wouldn't fit. Please email me with what size and offset you bought. My email address is yamaracing@aol.com. Also did you have to modify anything to make them fit.

No modifications were necessary and the rims fit fine on the 02 SS. I'll tell my boyfriend to email you the info you requested.

Sorry guys, i've been busy with work, and haven't posted much lately....

I've decided to go with the SSR Integrals for sure. 18's all around. Wish I could afford the GT3's, but maybe when I'm making the big bucks, I'll upgrade
