Nine Ball the Black Ano would look awesome I will see if they have a website and check it out. If they do I might be redoing this.
I also made a mistake about who makes this paint. I posted that it was made by Krylon, It isn't, it is made by DUPLI COLOR I did the edit thing to my first post now it reads correctly. Sorry about that.

Bos, I agree, I tried to polish my stock fuel rail and it was coming out all right but I was running out of time. So I just sprayed it too. Once I get more funds I will get the onces you are talking about. They look a ton better than whats on there now. But I have to worry about getting the engine back in that frickin engine compartment lol.

Looks bad ***, but looks like it would clash with the color of the car. In the pics the engine parts look like a dark metallic red, whereas the car is more of a bright red.
btw-a Meziere EWP painted to match would be the final touch

You can buy this at any autoparts store. When it first came out you could only get blue, red or yellow. Now they have added green and purple. I've got my TB, maf ends, STB, hood struts and fuse box covers painted in the blue. It looks awesome. You can see pics in the sig. BTW, your red looks great!!!!

I wonder how these metalcast paints would look on calipers. I am bored with my polished calipers, friggen waterspots have degraded them, and they are even zoop sealed!

That looks spectacular! It is always interesting to see the LS1 out of its shell. The engine is actually fairly "purty" without all the clutter.

alexWS6: I agree about the two different shades of red but when the sun hits the manifold and covers they are a real bright red and almost impossible to photograph with my digital camera. I will have to wait to see what it looks like underneath the hood once we have it all buttoned up, gotta admit though it looks a lot better than the stock black, aluminum and should be a whole lot easier to clean
As for the calipers being painted with this stuff? It says calipers can be sprayed on the can but I would figure the heat would destroy it in no time. Maybe I will try it for ***** and giggles.
00silverZ post some pics of the blue up for us. That's the color I wanted in the first place but I didn't everyone to think I was a color mismatching freak.
White Death I would have to agree with you about the LS1, it does look nice without all the crap around it. I had my egr deleted this time around so that doesn't have to go in and the a/c is gone as well as the coils on the v-covers. I also went to the LS6 valley cover to get rid of all the rubber hoses around the intake. I want to be able to see my engine now.
Thanks all you guys rock

If you go to krylon.com and look at their automotive stuff, or just go to duplicolor.com, (same company) you can see their list of paints. They only show blue, red and yellow though for the anodized.
I agree that the black over silver would look sweet as well. I may opt for that on my red car because I'd be worried about the colors clashing as well. It looks awesome though.

You didn't have to pull the engine out just to shoot some photos for us. But hey, thanks!

I just can't wait to get it back in the car, new 348 low comp for the blower. Should smack around the old stock LS1 around pretty bad.
Tally white is a good color to have red won't look bad at all IMHO.
Thanks all,
J
