Default What do you use clean the outside of your windshield?

I bought some new wipers because my old ones were due for a change.

Before putting the new ones on I cleaned the windshield 3 times with Invisible Glass and a good microfiber towel. After that I wiped it down good with another clean and dry MF towel.

The new wipers work great but they leave a haze when they wipe.

I might try a few more passes with Invisible Glass but if that doesn't work what do you guys recommend?

Lol wtf?^

I use the same stuff, but I use the soft paper towels and never had problems. Probably not the best way to do it but it works good for me.

Works for me also.
I use our SRP glass cleaner at work (autoglass installer) all day with regular paper towels.

Are your microfiber towels new or just cleaned? you may still be getting some wax residue if it's only cleaned.

They microfiber towels were new. Since sitting overnight at work the haze seems to have gone almost completely away. It could've been something on the new wipers.

Invisible glass and paper towels.

Then wipe down with fresh dry paper towels to prevent haze or streaking.

New wipers have a greasy substance called mold release on them, this stops the rubber from sticking to the mold when they are manufactured. Clean them with glass cleaner and it will remove it.

When I wax my car I go over the windshield and all windows with the detail spray and the buffer = better than new.

But for regular cleaning I use two passes of Invisible Glass. It says to do it a couple times to completely clean it.

I put bar keepers friend on a rag and put a little water on there to make a paste. Then scrub the window. It cleans better than anything I've ever used

I use Zaino's Glass Polish once in the spring when I take the car out of storage and again before I put it away for the winter. Then I maintain my glass with Stoners Invisible Glass and a microfiber towel.

I've done it a couple times with news paper, I can't say if it's "better" or not.. The best method is compound on an electric buffer and wash it like the rest of your car. When I compound my glass water beads up and rolls off like rainx but lasts alot longer and it's super shiny... Also removes water spots.

That is exactly what I do. I have just switched to the griots glass cleaner and it works a little better when it comes to streaks. As for removing scratches on the glass, try a glass polish, like from Zaino, and it should do the trick.
