Yes, there is. I'd post a link, but the search isn't working right now.

You locate it behind the PCM.

Mine is bolted up.
I'm not aware of anyone else who has bolted it up, though.
Many people just zip-tie it and some just throw it back there.

Doesn't it need to be secured for it to work properly

Nope.

I bolted mine so it didn't rattle around.
Especially since it's so close to the PCM.

How did you bolt it up there. Do you have any close up pictures?

mook99ta, I know you PM'd me but I'm going to post here so others can search this later.

Here are two pictures that show where and how I bolted the module to the cowl.
I center-punched where I wanted to drill.
Two drill bits were picked, one that fit my bolt and one that was larger than the socket I was using to tighten the bolt.
The larger bit was used to go through the upper cowl.
Once the large hole was drilled I used the smaller bit to through the SAME hole to drill into the lower portion of the cowl.
(See the picture if this description is confusing.)
And important note: you will not be able to drill with the hood completely closed and you will not be able to drill with the hood completely open.
Use a piece of wood (or something comparable) to prop the hood open, see the third picture.
Then use a skinny piece of wood between where your drilling and the hood.
This is just in case the drill bit doesn't bite and slips. You'll mess the wood up, not your hood.

Also, excuse the dirty car. It was December and it's my DD.
