y do they recommend it be on the car for 3-4 weeks ?? ALL aftermarket hoods are sightly high in the back near the windshield...lemme know !

The hoods are made when they are ordered, there is no backstock. The hood will still be curing when you receive it. If it is painted immediately the gasses coming out during the final curing stage will be trapped between the hood and the paint possibly ruining both.

Also, allowing the hood to cure on the car will help the hood to fit better.

Im confused. They want you to drive around for 3-4 weeks with a unpainted hood?

Why didnt you have them bondo and paint the front grill area?

That 3 inch cowl make it hard to see?

Yep 3-4 weeks. See the post above for an explaination.

I didn't trust Bondo to not fall out it the bumper got flexed. I now have a Wings West grill insert on it.

I am not tall - 5'6" and I don't have any problem seeing over the cowl.
