That looks cool!
I almost did the same thing on my NBM car, but changed my mind. Maybe I'll re-visit that memory, hehe.

Hmm, not sure about that look. Not bad though. Your bowtie needs to be moved up though.

yes the bowtie is going to be painted black actualy, good eye it is low The way I went about painting it,is first find a used one so if you don't like it you can go back to stock ! Then wet sand the piece with 1500 wet sandpaper . After that clean it with dish soap to remove any grease . Then wipe it down with acetone for final cleaning .

I went to Pep Boys and bought flexible bumper primer(gray) and paint(silver metallic)along with clear coat . I applied two coats of primer, two coats of silver and two coats of clear . The emblems are retachable if you get all adhesive off ,then reapply spray adhesive . Hold the emblems in place with masking tape to act as a clamp .

I'm still debating if I want to do this mod or not. I was going to get a panel from a pewter car.

Members I saw your interst in the rear 'Berger'tail light panel. I am selling them, color of your choice, with emblems(SS or Z28)along with rear fill in letters of your choice. These are OE GM panels primed, painted and clear coated . I am selling them for $225 shipped .
