^^Heck, if you're bored go onto my forums and toss around the idea of a PHK emblem. You'll probably get 10-20 of us to pick one up...

Would you be able to come up with some kind of design for the 35th Limited Edition SS models?? Like say, the nose emblem with the checkered flag design and LE SS or something like that. Maybe your own version of the original badges on the 35th LE's ya know??? or anything really. Just throwing this out there for us 35th LE guy's.

Stainless steel will not rust, peel, crack, or ever oxidize.
Acrylic is a plastic, and it will not last as long as stainless steel will.

Rationally speaking, stainless steel could last for 50 years (no joke).
Acrylic, is exterior rated, and will last for a long time. It is not as sturdy as stainless, and will not take an impact like stainless steel would.
The advantage to Acrylic, is that it is easier to work with, their are many colors available, and it allows for more custom options than stainless does. It is a little cheaper for us than our stainless is, but we get a very good deal on the stainless. Most others would pay more for it than we do.
It really just depends on what the customer wants. By offering both, we can make everyone happy.
We also are making hybrid emblems now, where we combine all materials into one piece. This looks very nice. I hope I answered what you asked.

hey matt, i have the hockey stripes on my car and i have "ls1" on each side where the front bends down and the "ls1" is inverted on each side. Could i get a set of the ZR1 style LS1 badges where one is bending one way and the other is inverted the opposite?
I have some pictures if u are interested, it seems kinda confusing when its typed.

On second look, the fact it is laying on your crotch and says 6LE PACKAGE is now somewhat disturbing me
