Just get a paint made specifically for plastics, and make very sure they are clean. I would be curious to see how it comes out, if you do it.
thanks for the tips....and I returned your PM.

Comes in a bottle with a brush applicator. Dries smooth though. I used it to stick my stainless bezel to my ABS bezel and then just brushed it all over the ABS that still showed. Took it from a grey to a gloss black, just like you want.

Can't really mess up either since it dries uniform and quick. Tape off the painted area of the car and take your time, it will look great.
Lets get on this, Mark!!

Let me know how this comes out. If it works, I already have some other ideas for products.

The paint and clear coat were intact underneath. It appears they paint the car and then apply the applique. If I remember correctly, GM sold the birds prepainted from the catalog.

I had to remove mine because the edge of one of the wings started lifting.

Very good, because I want ours to be a replacement, not an overlay.
Thank you very much!!!

No problem....BTW - if you need an LT1-based Firebird, I'll be happy to take precise measurements and photos to help you out. If I were closer, I'd drive over.

Things I'd be interested in for our model years:

Fuse box cover, battery cover, fluid caps, ashtray cover (something to dress up the lid perhaps), etc.

Keep the goodies coming...

I will have that package listed tonight, hopefully. We're trying our best to churn out as many orders as possible while getting the website wrapped up. If you want those other emblems added to a package, you'll have to send an email to get it done, but we can do it.

We do not make the bowtie you are asking for.
We are also not sure what you mean about inserting the ZR1 emblem into the grille. What part of the ZR1 did you want white?

I believe I may take your offer up on a few things. Every single item we have ever made for the LT1 cars, has been long distance. Makes it harder, and takes longer to do things that way.

Just let me know...I could even send small parts to you. The car is not my daily driver, so missing small parts for a while is no big deal.

If I can help the LT1 community...I'm all in!
