LT1 SS Hood grilles? I didn't see them listed on your website.

Also, do you know if the "hood grille" is the same on a GM SS hood as an aftermarket SS hood? I guess I could always send you my current vent if you wanted to check.

This isn't something that needs to be done immediately, just curious.

Any aftermarket hood nostril in my experience has never matched any factory grills. We make the 96-97 factory hood camaro grill. It should be listed. The Grand Prix grills are also not listed.
If you have an aftermarket hood, you will very likely need a custom grill made. We are fair, on pricing. Let me know.

Due to someone trying to pull a "FAST" one, by making an exact replica of our original particular hood grill. I mean an exact hole, for hole copy. We have dropped the prices on the grills about 6 months ago as a countermeasure to his activities. We have suceeded in increasing our sales numbers with this decision. They are very fairly priced, and he can't beat us on that. If you see them somewhere else, less than we sell them for please let me know. It will be a bonus for you.
We also offer them out of acrylic for the budget minded, also in many many colors out of acrylic.
So the grills are the price they are, but if bought with other items we can work something out. Please let me know what your item list is.

I am on my 3rd ordered item & I think the prices are fair. For record I have ordered the front nostril vents from another competitor & am having problems with the blue acrylic fading or peeling(discolored), not sure what it is. He gave me another set at no charge but they are doing the same thing. I hope I have better luck with yours.

Hey Matt...

I took a chance an ordered your battery cover, which states it only for the LS1 cars.

Well, it fits my 96. I did have to grind away a little bit of the bracket that holds the bump-stop (for the hood) but nothing major. Took all of 5 minutes with my Dremel.

Anyway, I may purchase some of your other LS1 "only" stuff to see if it will in fact fit LT1 cars as well.

Some of the items we sell as LS1 only, will absolutely fit the LT1 vehicles
We have a lot of prototype LT1 items made, but need to get my hands on one to do a proper test fit. Test fitting is something I like to see for myself.
I look for certain things, and someone else doing it for me may not do that.
We are ading more LT1 items as fast as we can verify fitment.

We have been using the acrylics on various exterior items for one year, with no reported issues. I think you will be fine. However, I would like some installed pictures if you get time.

well i received the ultra z hood grille today.. very pleased with the final product. its 100% better than the stock piece ... i had also previously purchased a bowtie grille emblem and z28 nose emblem. by the time i got around to putting them on it was getting kinda late. but here are some pics. i will take some better ones in a few days when im off. im glad i was able to help you guys out.
