No pics but i have mine just in the corner of the drivers a-pillar. I'm thinking about rigging a mount in front of the shifter though, i've seen a guy on here fiberglass one into the console, and it looked awesome

I like this, how does it attach though? I just got one for christmas and need a good place to mount it in the camaro when spring rolls around.

I had to buy the floor mount stand off ebay that they sell for the magellan. Its made out of a solid steel rod that i had to cut down and re-weld to the height i wanted. the stand itself attaches to the bolt that holds the seat to the floor board.
sweet, will it work with a garmin? do you have a link? did you shorten the wire or just bunch it up behind there?

I've got my sony at the very top of the windshield at 12 o'clock right above the wheel.
It makes a bit like a HUD. Except I have to look around to see Stop lights.
I've had to run all the wires through the A pillar to make them disappear though.

To your question about fitting a Garmin. Nope. Was one of the reasons i bought the Magellan, for the fact i could mount it low 
and not on the windshield, looking like a tourist. As for the wires, they're tied up and placed out of view below the seat.

horrible pics i extremely apologize but there all i have, they were taken by my blackberry. I ran the cord through a hole that i drilled in the A pillar and put a grommet on it so it looks really clean. I tapped into the fuse box for a constant 12 volt power source and bought an extra cig lighter outlet and installed it under the dash so there is absolutely no wires showing and i can still using my other outlets. I will get better pictures with a high quality camera if anyone wants me to.
