That funny because I was thinking of doing the same thing. My mother-inlaw has a RSX and I love the the sets that are in it. It cool to see it can be done.
Looks real good man, good job

Yeah the trap door is a side airbag. And these seats are more comfortable then the T/A seats. After 2 hrs of driving these seats in my car kill my lower back even with the lumbar support. And I'm sure everyone supporting the arizen, 6LE, and mad seats are probably made in japan or china anyways. These RSX seats are made by Recaro who also makes the EVO and Cobalt SS and new GTI seats so they are very nice quality.

Agreed.
arizen, 6le, mad seats are damn copies of recaro seats. At least this dude's RSX seats have passed government safety tests. These mad seats, arizen, and 6le probably have not.
Plus from seeing the boxes that 6le's seats came in, not that I care too much about it, are made in China.
So who gives a ****!!!

and yes I love my Batman Shifter
I always thought my car kinda looked like a "batmobile" (there were many) and it so did several other friends and family but it didn't really hit me until I was driving through my town one day and Im stopped at the light and this young kid, probably 6 years old or so says "look daddy...its batman!" and the it took the father a good 10 seconds to reply after staring at the car trying to figure out exactly what it was and finally came to the conclusion that it was a Firebird...

You know I was thinking sort of the same thing...only the exact opposite. I wonder just how safe that little home made adapter plates would be in a wreck. I mean he is OBVIOUSLY worried about a high speed wreck...he has a roll bar! But his seats held in by a home made piece of flat steal bar???? Not exactly what I would call up to "government safety" standards. But they look ok...NOT better than factory TA seats though IMO.
