Not exactly what I would call up to "government safety" standards. But they look ok...NOT better than factory TA seats though IMO.

My seats are not held in by a home made piece of flat steel* bar either...thats just the part of the mounting setup that you could see. It is braced as well and fully welded. That piece of steel bar you see is setup like that so I could still unbolt the seat from the seat track.

Before I bolt the passenger seat in I will take pics of the under the seat so you can see the bracing and brackets I used to make this work...

So is it safe to say that the majority of the people here dislike these seats?

They look great to me, but that cage isn't exactly a tight fit.

Wow, the guys who think the stock seats are fine have obviously never taken a turn in the F-body. The stock TA and Camaro seats let you fly out as do the vette seats. Also the build quality of our seats is just plain aweful. If you really think keeping it "muscle" is actually important then you are retarded. The one think I loved about my ex girlfriends RSX-S was the seats. You could go flying around the corners and not move out of the seat at all. So great job, now just find a use for the side airbag compartments .

Thumbs up

Nice seats, IMO quality is quality, and Racaro seats high on that list!

And yeah, the factory GM seats in the camaro suck!

yeah the stock seats suck ***, you can inflate the lumbar and a day later you have to reinflate it. At least we dont have vette seats those are the most uncomfortable seats and they dont hold you in worth a **** in turns.

The majority of fellows hating wouldn't have said a damn thing if you just posted up, "New Seats Installed" with pics and didn't say they were from something with Veeeeetak.

I think they look awesome. That's some hot rodding right there; making due with what you got.

I really don't see what the problem is here.

Clearly, the new seats look great, are likely better made and far more comfortable.

Congrats for doing something different!

They look great. I bet if you posted pics without saying what seats they were, everyone would be leg-humping you. Funny how perceptions work.
