My plenum came back today. My Girlfriends brother does airbrush work and said he can do something on my plenum since it was rather boring. I wanted to polish it but, this worked out to be cheaper and looks great. We tried to get the mustang in its mouth but it wouldn't scale right in the space under the teeth so the ferd symbol had to do. Its eatin' the fords up lol
All that is left now is to mount the coil relocation brackets, hook the computer up and add fluids and it will be time to fire her up
I will post up completed enginebay pics of this whole set up once its done.

It is very shiny with a couple coats of clear sprayed over top of it, it was done with automotive paint but don't have specifics on what brand it was. I hope the pics are clear, this thing is tricky to photograph with the digi camera, I have to get used to these things.lol
Tell me what you think, I know this isn't everyones cup o' tea but I had this in my head for along time and I am glad I had someone close to me to help me get it done,

Thanks all, I can't wait to get started on it tomorrow morning. I am the ultimate procrastinator, this engine install has taken me 3 weeks to get done. My poor car looks like it has been sitting for 50yrs with all the dirt that has built up on it. Now time to get it done.

The artwork looks nice. I think it would've looked better polished, but that's just the opinion of a FORD owner!
That's fine and dandy until you get spanked by a Ford. Then you'll sit there like

Here's were I'd normally try to say something witty about me beating you in a race...but I don't think I'll be able to.

Unit I love ya man
Your Cobra is still
You know my favorite car at our track is the turbo cobra driven by mike keenan. His car is awesome you cant get over 8.6's at this altitude. If I do get spanked it will be good, I haven't be beaten for awhile now, last time was when I broke the torque arm. Plus its under the hood you can't see it
OH YEAH "but I don't think I'll be able to." You won't

Ok enough of the street race banter. Thanks guys for all the support on the plenum, now lets get some pics up
Its done, it fired up on its first try and runs. How well it runs is still a mystery we will be breaking it in tomorrow in the sunlight.

PS Mad Ice, I can never see a post from you, I wonder why that is.
Can a mod step in and help me see his posts or is there a reason why I can't see them?

What's the scoop with all the wiring? I sure don't remember my LS1 having that many misc wires. Then again, I didn't have a blower on it.
Just out of curiousity...how hard was the install?
