First of all, I have a '98 Black Z28. When I first started doing all of my modifications I went with the Red/Black color scheme. I have all red supension componets suchs as STB, LCAs, and SFCs; however, I've now decided that I don't think an all red and black vehical is what I want. So, I started looking into other accent colors. I was thinking about doing silver with it. Would this look good?
Say I had silver Z28 badges and rear fill, chrome or polished wheels, with my red supension compoents and red calipers. What else should I do silver? As in under the hood to make it look right? Maybe silver headers, valve covers, or convaluted tubing? Just looking for idea to see if I can make it work.
And lastly, I started a topic for it, but it doesn't seem to be getting any interest. I saw the Boyd's Coddington Shyster wheel. How do you think those would look on a Camaro?
Thanks for any opinions.

Silver accent would be good.
On your calipers is the caliper red and the bracket silver??
Add "CAMARO" Caliper decals - email mark2000ss@attbi.com
Silver infill letters for the back would be good.
If you ever put on relocation brackets or a torque are, go with silver it will show from behind and highlight nicely with the red parts you already have,
Some nice FRC's with the bruched chrome decals from www.afterthoughtsauto.com
If I think of more I'll reply again.

Your lucky since you have black you can get away with two accent colors.. (red/silver)

Oh, (and this is just MY opinion).. Just say No to the idea of colored convo tubing.. trust me thats its better to make wires dissapear rather than stand out.. Go look at older show cars.. how many go out of their way to hide wires as much as possible.. (hint: the answer is all of them)..

Hey Steve,
Can you give me a run-down of the best way to hide wires in the engine compartment. Which wires? Where to hide them? etc.
Thanks!!

Just look where the wires come from and you should be able to find an adquate out of the way spot to re-attach them..
I move the ones on the shock towers to behind the fuse boxes (drivers) and down by the radiator resevoir (passengers).. Im still working on a way to hide the wires on the passengers side that run over the shock tower (big loom).. maybe an extension harnes and run it inside the fender.. Still with black convo tubeing (especially on a black car) the remaining wires at least wont pop out at ya.. I also used new electrical tape and wire zip ties to neaten up the wires you can see..
Hope this helps
