Default Firebird bumper idea

So I figured "damn, Firebird guys could use a front bumper that isn't huge rice." I'm not in a position to make these, I was just messing around in Photoshop. I would think this bumper would be pretty easy to make, but I'm not a body shop man so I don't really know if this is feasible. I got the idea for the top two "nostril delete" ones from nalmak (a fellow LS1tech member who already did it). The inlet section is from an LT1 Camaro, although I'm not sure if the scale is right as I do not have access to an LT1 Camaro right now.

Tell me what you think and please vote for your favorite.
Just for reference, here's nearly the same angle on a C6.

And here's stock:

Here is the TA with the #1 and #2 nostril delete done to it (in real life):

They look better than all the "Ricey" ones they make, but I still like the stock one the most.

Good job though.

i really like number 1. Could you photoshop the lights in the bumper out all together so its just like the camaro insert and then two air scopps? I think it would be a great application for custom twin intercooler set ups.

Like this? Or with the fins between lights removed? I can remove the fins but that means more fab work if anybody tries to make these.

I like the stock look, but if I had to pick one it would be the first one.

1 and 3 are closest to great! I liked the filled in useless under hood ports, and the open one is good for those of us who've made ram air on the Bird. I think an improvement would be to take the factory bumper and completely shave the license plate area then open up the sides where the lights are and have two open ports there with room to fit driving lights.

If you can do a crude MSpaint sketch then I can Photoshop it... I have no idea what you're trying to say - lol

I have a Firebird, why would I want to downgrade to a Camaro?? The only things that truly bug me are the stock GM bumper designs for all of these 4th gen F-bodies, and the Formula style rear hatch. Check out the C6 in post #1 and you'll see that for some reason they have a pretty interesting front end "face"... Stock. I bet you didn't notice?

That's not brainstorming.... it's a brain malfunctioning.
