I usually HATE that hood, but somehow your car pulls it off and I really like it! Well done!

I have the 4" and i have learned to drive with it. But that 5" must be nerve wrecking. Looks great though.

That hood is utterly obnoxious and brash (kinda like the Andrew Dice Clay of hoods) on a run-of-the-mill LS1; but it is obvious that your T/A possesses the violence to pull it off.

Snap one from the driver's seat if you can, I've wondered how much worse the 5" hood was. I use to have the 4" and it wasn't too bad, especially on a daily driven car. Going over rolling hills was a bitch to see though lol.

I don't like the hood but atleast you have the power to back it up! IMHO your car would look better with the hood that is on the red Formula ^

It looks mean!!! Plus you have the power to back it up. I have the 4" from VFN on my white Formula and absolutely love it. My hood is a little different in that it ends before the windshield. These hoods only weigh like 12 lbs compared to over 50 for the stock steel hood. I have had more compliments in one week with the hood than I had all last year with the stock hood. The only time I find it diffficult to see is when I park it in my garage. Even then I can look through the ram air vents to see how close I am to the wall.
