I think that's a Joe Van O. hood...someone correct me if i'm wrong... EDIT: I ran across the hood on vfn's site. I never knew they came out with that

I'm not really feelin' it either, to me it looks like they abused the Ram Air scoops. It definitely looks like it means business though.

I think the stock hood would look better unless that hood is needed for your intake setup.

Just wanted to toss in that we've recently RE-designed our extended hood. We've designed the scoops to "slope" back by the windshield for better visibility.
I know it's still a huge hood, but if you need the clearance and have the power...it's a great looking hood for the car and a very popular option.




Here's a pic of the 2 hoods side by side - the New sloped Design on the red car and our old extended version on the black car:
