um not really. but the real difference is that a firehawk is a firehawk and thats all that needs to be said. lol for real the bumper fits the hood, not the hood is made to fit the bumper.

Yeah your tellin me I was looking for a firehawk hatch and a guy wanted $600 just for the spoiler. Anything that says "firehawk" people try to get an arm and a leg for.

When it all comes down to it, any WS6, Firehawk, Collectors Edition or Anniversary Edition is the same as any base Formula or Trans Am just with performance, suspension and/or appearance packages. And for that stuff, you pay a price, a price that can be made up for just buying a base Formula or Trans Am and modding it yourself with exactly what you want .. and in most cases, for cheaper. It would be one thing if they came with a different engine or the very top of the line suspension you could get... but thats not the case.

Sentimental? Yes. Worth it? Thats a matter of opinion.

that would also hold true for the z28's and ss's but unless you bought it brand new you more than likely can find a firehawk or an ss for less or just about the same price as building one but it would have a factory paint job and also resale value. it is a matter of opinion so to each his own but it all boils down to what you like, how much you want to spend, etc...
