shaved attenna? anyone shaved the antenna off of theyre car? i been debating on it and ill be getting the car repainted once i start working the way im supposed to be
and i hate the way the antenna looks on it.
post pics up if possible and how you ran your "hidden antenna" or possibly some other ideas.
been hearing about this bitviper thing too, tried to find something picture wise on it to see if that would tickle my fancy some so if you guys have something like that it would be appreciated to see how that looks on the car too.

I shaved mine and remounted it on the bar for the spare tire mount. It runs along inside the quarter panel pointed tward the front of the car. I haven't had any reception problems with it where I live. Sorry no pic at the moment.

well if any of you guys could get some pics out id greatly appreciate it, i have a little time because when the guy that had the car apparently changed his driver side front fender he bought an aftermarket one and it doesnt line up all that great, so im in the midst of looking for decent shape fender too. id love to have that big nasty anntena off the car though so any help is appreciated on looks of it and how you guys went about rerouting a new antenna/ where its mounted etc. thanks for the comments so far and keep em coming please
I don't have a good pic at the moment, but here ya go. Had it professionally shaved, have antanea mounted inside quarter panel as mentioned above. I hate the way they look with antaneas, this was one of my first mods

i got a retractable antenna but the last owner changed the radio and i guess dint know how you had to splice the power to make the antenna go up...

I put a power antenna in my car and it never worked. Got a new head unit (both were aftermarket ones) and it went up when I turned the key. If its aftermarket check the wiring on the back of the HU.

all i gotta do is splice the power wire on the stereo so the antenna will get power once the radio is on...but i don't want to i like it down all the time.
