Default New grille...

Got a new grille for my Camaro, let me know what you think!

Before...

After...

It's a black billet grille I got off ebay for $55 shipped. I painted the area behind the grille semi-gloss black. I think it looks a million times better than the stock grille w/ license plate.

I also got a new head unit, Alpine CDA-9884...

Dirty engine bay...

A few more pics I took today...

That is definitely my first choice, but can't justify spending the money they command. Hopefully this won't chip and end up looking like hell, because if it does I'll probably give in and buy an SLP

Liked it a lot better before. I dont understand billet grills on cars, make them look like trucks. I like the idea of the twin ports on camaros ive always thought they looks best with no grill just a smoothed out area. I mean its a nice grill, good quality it looks like, i just dont like billet bars like that on anything that doesnt have a 6 inch lift.

Its very simple, it only takes 4 screws. Just mark the spots, drill your holes then install.

how do you get the stock grill out? And do you have to take off the front bumper?

Yeah, I think I'm going to get a '69 Chevelle bowtie for it

the seller's name is goody4less, his store is GoodyOnBay, and I just checked and right now he doesn't have any black billet grilles listed for our cars but when I ordered mine it said there were still like 7 left. Maybe they all sold and he doesn't have more yet, I'm not sure.

It came with self-tapping screws. You just drill right into your bumper

You don't have to remove the bumper. Yank it off on the sides first, they should come up easy. The middle part is a lot harder. You have to pull hard and wiggle it for a while until it comes loose. It feels like it's bolted in, but it's not
