I'm going to paint my calipers blue and eventually do the Zr-1 style badges that say Z28 from DragonZ28.

I think it's clean and simple and not played out like Pewter/black. Not that anything is wrong with pewter/black its just what everyone does.

I think that color may work for like a stripe, i like the manta stripe idea (though that blackbird style stripe idea is cool also) Ghost gray would be cool too though. I dont think a berger panel in that color would work though... I think it would look off.

Pewter is a REALLY hard color to deal with. IMO a tiny bit of black with a tiny bit of chrome works best. Looks horrible when people just do pewter with black or just pewter with chrome. Too much black or chrome is bene, brickyard, and pwterz28 show the perfect example of that

It would help if the color was a little darker. 03 04 cobras come in a nice pewter type color but darker like the two cars pictured above but with more of a brown shade.

Pewter with a flat black would look really good. I have a pewter T/A and was looking to do the CETA, door emblems, and eventually hood work to incorporate flat/matte black.

I went with black stripes, and just recently went from chrome to hypersilver wheels.

Zstripper2k is by far the sexiest of sex! I love the hardtop sleep look, and I like the black manta with the black decal. The rims really keep it clean with a hint of black, but not overboard.

The only thing I would do different, is a black slp or billet grille, with blacked out corners.

EDIT: What rims are those, those are the rims I want when I get my SS because I love the chrome and black together.

Black is the safest/easiest, however there are some extremes that work well with Pewter, but you really have to pick and choose carefully where to accent with the more radical colors

How about peweter, black and hits of orange? Or peweter and silver? I think peweter, black and hints of orange would look good though...

RiceEaterZ, Where did you get that hood from and how much did you pay for it? Is the fins functional?

I went with black subtle accents and the wheels are hyperblack with a polished lip.

Not the best picture, and I plan on changing the calipers to a black or dark pewter to get rid of the red.
