There's a guy in the midwestern section that is selling one for cheaper if you are interested. I don't know how that paint holds up but from my experience, things that move and flex alot usually don't take well to paint. Hopefully this type of paint will prove otherwise.
Prior owner of my car had painted the shift boot orange. It looked "ok" I guess, but the color had come off in some of the creases.
If you want it nice, gonna have to ante up to buy one or you could sew one yourself with fabric/vinyl/leather from a fabric store.
