Default 3" ASCD vs. 3" Trufiber Hood

Hopefully in a few months I'll be able to get a cowl hood. But I'm having trouble deciding between these two:

http://www.trufiber.com/p-24-3-cowl-...ctor-hood.aspx

The major difference between the two is that the ACSD has a single fine line down the middle, whereas the Trufiber has sort of raised 3-D line. Also I'm not certain that the ACSD is 3", it doesn't say anything about it, not even the weight. I'll be painting the sides of the cowl black to match my two-tone black ss spoiler and black berger panel in the back and with the Trufiber I can see how it looks if I paint the middle raise buldge too.

Which do you think?

Of the two I say the Trufiber. I'm sure you have your reasons but why not VFN?

I want the sharper, square style looking hood, not the rounded Sunoco style which looks great on LS1 cars, but not right on LT1's IMO. Also, the style I like that they have is either too big (4") or just a bit too small (2").

But I just found this hood on Ebay by a company called FFI Custom that's 2.5" and it looks just right.

I think the ss hood would be better IMO

That's cool, always good to be a little different.
