props to 6LE and everything he has done, but those tips just look horrible!! They would look slightly better painted though.

To each their own. They were made for a specific Camaro valance, we just thought they might look good on his car and I still do

Not for everyone though

MUCH MUCH better with the black paint but like the other guy said they stand out a bit too much but is definitely an improvement over the unfinished look.

Splitters and a lot of other mods in general are the same way. Can't please everyone!

I love how it looks now with the insides painted black. Met up with BigDaddyBry to pick up a part earlier today and he complimented me on my ride.

Here at a local recycler, they have a ws8 parts car for sale, theyre asking $1500 its a roller but honestly, from GM, the kit alone costs that. So its like buying the kit anf getting a free firebird that would be a great roller for a drag set up or something. I wish i had the extra money but like so many, im unemployed!

The slotted openings are larger on the TA bumper so if they don't fit in there they aren't going to fit in a W68 valence either. The W68 tips are smaller than the stock LS1 Firebird tips. Those tips came stock on the 96-97 WS6 cars and standard on your car and IMO look a lot better when they are polished and kept clean.

I personally think they look horrible (better painted though) but you probably don't care as I have Corsas on my TA!

You're right about them not fitting, and about how I don't care since you have turned your exhaust into one of many clones. However, I never had those small stock oval tips. I haven't found any for sale locally either and I have asked around. The exhaust that you think came standard on my car was actually the standard one from an '01 WS6 - I bought the muffler-back from some guy in San Jose and it only had 7 miles on it - didn't even have carbon deposits... My car had dual 2.25" turndowns from the factory. It was unacceptable.

I thinks it looks pretty good. Like stated before, just recess them about 1/2" and bring em up a bit.

I think he means to get them tucked up tighter...closer to the bumper. Even the updated pictures make them look like you broke an exhaust hanger. I also think they stick out too far toward the back of the car and need to move forward a bit....but that's my 2 cents.

Def better with the black inside.
