Default A few new apperance choices.

I'm really having a hard time deciding what I should do, so lets see if you guys can help me out .

Keep current setup (Would have to re-do stripes since they are messed up)

Rid the hockey stripes and keep the stock hood

Rid the hockey stripes and get a 2inch cowl hood
- Or keep stripes and get cowl hood

Rid the hockey stripes and get a SS hood:
- Keep SS hood all pewter
- Get outer and inner scoop painted _____ (ZL1 style)
- Get Berger style stripes
- Black 35th anv stripes
- Get the same stripes that steve had on his sold SS.

Re-do the hockey stripes and get a SS hood:
- Keep SS hood all pewter
- Get outer and inner scoop painted _____ (ZL1 style)
- Get Berger style stripes
- Have stripes go around the SS hood (Sprewell camaro style)

Open to other options too.

SS hood w/ 35th stripes. Haven't seen them on pewter yet.

I'd also make the grill black.

hockey stripes look weird on 4th gen cars.

Get an SS hood and just paint outer portion of the scoop, not the inner. That would look best in my opinion. Your car is the first 4th gen that actually looked good with hockey stripes, but they still make a car look to "busy", so I say get rid of them and put the old stripes back on. Oh yeah, and get a black grille.

Get rid of the Hockey Stripes.
Powder coat the spokes of your ZO6's a gun metal gray.
Get a SS hood. Paint out part (Manta) a gun metal gray.
Get a black grill.
Gun Metal and Pewter look great. Its subtle, but it works.

Don't copy Steve, because your car would look too much like his. Then you'll be compared and considered a copy cat

Just some suggestions.

Leave the hood, no stripes, no nothing. Cleaner looks better. Shave all emblems and molding. Personally, I hate stripes and graphics, and much prefer a "clean" looking car. If you INSIST on stripes, do them in a very subtle fashion, maybe just a darker shade of grey/silver.

I did actually have the idea of painting the grille satin black or a cast coat grey color with the chevy badge in the center. I'll probably do this, but I'm just waiting to see what I'm gonna do first.

I love the hockey stick stripes and a lot of people around here do too.

Oh, btw. Personally I'd do the SS hood and get the hockey stick stripes painted on. (I guess you knew I was gonna vote for the hockey stick stripes though huh?) Also, while I can understand why you want to use the "346" instead of the 350 emblem, the emblem looks a lot better than the decal. Maybe you could get MBA Products to make you a custom 346 emblem. Not cheap but it'd look really good.

Well it looks like I will probably be going with this route.

Remove the hockey stripes. Buy a SS hood and paint it pewter, get the inner scoop painted black, get the outter scoop painted a cast coat grey metallic color with pinstripe (Or just do it black). Still ify on the inner scoop painted, but so far I like how it looks on others.

Mark IXZD 150 - Possibly but we'll see how much ya charge me . I may want a few other things made tho too, but more on the custom side (something you have'nt made).

The only thing I would do is powder coat your grille black. I think that would tie into your current setup nicely.

I definitely wouldn't change the rims.
