Blue side mirrors

I am just thinking out loud here, but has anybody tinted there side mirrors blue. (like an Acura TL, or BMW) ???

I was thinking about maybe attempting this with some light blue window tint.

not a bad idea. i get blinded at night when cars are behind me, the mirrors are the same height as all the headlights out there it seems.

some of the Trans Am's came that way, at least my 98 did, made every car behind me look like an import with fake hid's

yep the 98's came with them although it is a slight blue...kinda hard to get use to but its different

My 1999 also has them.

My 93 has them, but I didn't buy it new....so I have no idea if its stock.

I had a 95 firebird with them.. my 99 has regular..

My 94 v-6 base firebird had them. But one side had a stain that looked like someone sprayed winex and it just froze in place so i think someone added it, and messed up. Granted my mom was the original owner, but she bought it in 96 with 11,000 miles on it. The dealership we got it from drove it around in 92-94 all over the sate as a demo car. pretty cool.

My 97 had blue mirrors. Loved it. No glare ever. It does make everything clearer it seems like stated above.

I am thinking about just taking out the mirrors and then using blue window tint.....I have tinted windows in the past, so tinting these small mirrors should be easy.

I will put this on my to do list for next weekend.....I can't this weekend, softball tournament again.

Now I just need to find a local place that sells blue tint......

Sorry to bring this back from the dead, but will the mirrors themselves fit into the camaro mirror housing? Or do firebirds and camaros have different shaped mirrors?
