Steering wheel stereo control mod

Steering wheel stereo control mod Just finished "deleting" my steering wheel stereo controls. I've searched around to see who else has performed this little mod but I could not find anyone. Here are the BEFORE and AFTER pics.. I know the color looks different, but one picture, I used my flash and in the other picture(s), I did not. Same camera (Nikon 8800). Same airbag. Different steering wheel.

Yeah.. I'm familiar with the adapter harness. Since my radio is a touch screen, I prefer the use of the touch screen.
Thanks.. Yeah, this is the finished product. Cost me about $10. The interior is that Dark Charcoal Grey color with Corvette Yellow accents, roll bar, etc..

j/ki'd be interested to see steering wheel colored covers for those buttons. i've had my car for 5 years and haven't ever used the buttons since i changed the radio out the day i bought it and at that time didn't know about the aftermarket controller function and don't necessarily think its worth $100+ to get working (and one of my lights on my buttons is burnt out so i have them both disconnected so it doesn't look funky with one light set on and one off)

LOL, no those buttons are for turbo boost and super pursuit mode j/k

Thanks. It was a bit of a challenge gettin' it in. Took me about a full day.. Gotta love Wolfe Roll Bars! Totally worth it.
