Default Brighter Taillight Bulbs for Tinted Lights??

I have my tails tinted pretty dark, you can see a little light through them, but for my safety would like a little more. Is anyone running different lights with tinted taillights?

I really dont want to wetsand the paint off, but Id rather be safe then sorry. Chicago drivers suck

Best suggestion would be to go LED. You can find direct replacements online. Only thing to remember is to run an electric flasher for your turn signals.

haha it's cool. It's basically just like your flasher (underneath the dash) but it works with LEDs and standard bulbs. Nothing special or modification needed. Just replace your old flasher with the electric one (Electronic EL12 flashers. I think you'll need 2, one for your turn signals, one for you hazards) and you're set.

I'm like 99% sure they carry them. EL12 would be the part number. Just check with the bulbs and other relays. Usually they're made by a company named "Tridon"

Oh, and I'm not positive, but with some electronic flashers, you may not hear the clicking when you use your turn signals, so don't freak if you try them and don't hear them. Actually go outside and check the lights.

Thanks a ton for the part number! Do I need to do anything as far as wiring them up or just plug and play?

You're welcome man.

As far as the flasher? You just pull out your old one and put in the electronic ones. If you look under your dash and locate the flashers, you'll see how simple it is haha.

LEDs, are just the same thing as the bulbs your car has now. Only thing is that they're LED. They go in and come out the same way. The hardest thing is deciding just which LEDs to go with. I'll PM you a link that has some choices once I find the link. I can't post it here because they're a non-sponsor.
