Can someone please verify this: If you have a z28 and buy an OEM SLP SS spoiler with a SLP LED 3rd break light, do you need to this extra resistor or can you just splice it in?

Just try it.

If you're ABS light comes on, you need a resistor.

I got mine installed... mines stays lit when running, and gets brighter when brake is applied.... I don't think its supposed to be lit unless you hit the brake...

What kind of resistor do we need? Also, will it hurt LEDs to be dimly lit? They are lit without the brake applied, but only about as bright as the tail lights, and it looks good. But when the brake is applied its really bright...

its probably not supposed to, but it actually looks kinda good... if it doesn't hurt the leds to be partially lit I might just leave it alone.
