Default Stripe kit came in... now have a question. input needed !

Ok. i just got my kit in the mail like 20 min ago. I opened it up and it looks to have the stripe part behind the T-tops is like almost 2 inches wider than the other places. Is this because it is higher up and would look weird or smaller being so far up ? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />

I was watching Dream car garage on speed channel.
They are doing a resto on 1966 Shelby Mustang.
When the painted the new stripes on they worked of a blue print.
The stripe vaired in width at differn't points on the car.
Other wise it would look weird.
My guess is it's the same with your stripes.

Make sure after you get them on ya post some pictures.
Every one likes to see pic's of newly striped cars

YEP that is the way they go. See IF you had the width of the T top stripe the same as say the hood or spoiler? They would look thinner. The reason is that the area up there is so small that you just loose some width. To compensate they just make them a tad wider to please the eye or trick it into believing that the stripes are the same the whole way back. Now slap those bad boys on and show us some pics.
