Thanks though. It made things interesting!lol. after you include the PCM, wiring harness, gauge cluster, MAF, lid, M6 upper console, M6 pedal assembly, k-member, engine mounts, and trans mount, its more like 12 things. And thats not including upcoming appearance mods or the belt routing sticker.

As for the aforementioned parts - it's a joke. Everybody says I need an LS1 and a T56, but I need all those other parts to make it work. Plan is to find a parts car that is missing the rear half of the car for cheap, then use the underhood drivetrain, electrical, and mounting braces. Just reminding Gil that you need more than a longblock and a transmission.
Honestly though I don't want to think about a swap any more from all the bitches nagging me about it and how paying $250 per illegal smog check is ok, and would much rather just save up for a C5 or a C6. Keep the [400 miles per tank on 87 octane] V6 as a DD, and have more fun with the Vette on the weekends. I'll do an engine swap if the right deal comes up, but until then it's time to start saving for a Vette - since my goal of a comfortable, great handling, good looking, good MPG, decently quick daily driver is pretty much done.
