Re: I need help choosing wheels for my SS..
Well, this week I'm ordering from billet specialties, they make amazing wheels but they are expensive. I would tell you what kind I'm getting, but I will post pics later, I want to be unique. Ne how, I'm not too big with Colorado Custom, but billet specialties are very nice. Also, check out some ZR1's for a pewter SS, my uncle has them---looks sweet. Go with something simple on a pewter SS, like 5 stars
Good luck, Mike

I have polished Torq Thrust II's on my pewter 99 SS. I think they look great. Especially with 315's out back. The Fiske wheels look really good also, but there not cheap. I can send you pics if you want.

My work email is moorevincent@ems.att.com.. It is hard to find a wheel that no one has and when you do it is expensive..

There are a lot of people with Torq thrust Twos now. Originally I had planned on buying them, but I've changed my mind since everyone has them now. I would try to find a rim that nobody has yet. But the Fiske does look really good.

Re: I need help choosing wheels for my SS..
I think most of us would agree that dark colored cars can get away with looking great with either Chrome or Satin wheels. The lighter or in between colored cars I'm not sure what the rules are. I have a Pewter Z myself and am curious what those 10 spoke SS wheels in chrome will look like. I like the ZO6 in chrome and certainly everyone has seen how great they look on Steven Rupp's SS but I think a lot of people are jumping on the ZO6 wagon and I want to go with something less popular but still looks sharp.
Just my .2 cents.

I think 18" ZO6 rims look awesome on SS's. On a pewter car I would go chrome. My car is black and I prefere painted ones. Pics are in my sig. Good luck!!!
