Default Kinda Let Down by Maguiars NXT 2.0 Paste

I used Maguiars clay bar and then waxed with the 2.0 paste. I put two coats on the car. Felt and looked gorgeous sitting there. This was done maybe two weeks ago. I drove the car maybe 3 times maybe having a total of two hours of driving. I decided to wash it again so I backed it out of the garage, got my maguiars car wash and a brand new wash mitt. Washed it then dried it with a shammy. Looked good but when I ran the back of my hand down it I could tell it lost it's smooth touch. Felt almost like my minivan that doesn't get any love lol. So I had to rewax it tonight and yes looked damn good but I remember the gold class lasting a long time, even using the liquid. Feels like this wax washes off after one wash. Anyone else notice this? I think I'm gonna have to make a change. Not worth the 17.00 in my opinion.

I used the NXT 2.0 liquid tech wax for awhile before just recently switching over to Zaino.. You can see my thread with Pics, same color car so you can get an idea.. I will never ever go back to anything else.. I was so impressed with Zaino and can't believe how smooth and slippery the paint is.. Nothing I have used has ever done this.. Feels almost like a solid ceramic coat on it.

Which type of Zaino does everyone use? I tried to buy some online a while back, but I think there were a few different types. I may be thinking of something else though, its been a while.

I just got one of their starter kits and added whatever I needed to it after that. Ran right at $100 or so for the whole kit, plus I got a free wash bucket with it.

FWIW, I remember reading that with most of the name brand waxes, 2 coats doesn't do anything because the 2nd coat will basically rub the first coat off the paint as its going on.

Get the Deluxe starter kit, that is what I did.. Also, as another option take a look at Tropi-Care that way you can decide which route you want to go.. They are a sponsor here and Steve is a great guy to answer your questions.
