Default 2002 Trans Am door panels in my 1995 Z28 !

I have had alot of questions regarding this appearance mod that i did, so i just thought i'd make a post about it

for anybody wanting to see if it was possible, here ya go !
2002 WS6 Trans Am door panels and leather seats in my 1995 Z28
Up next is a 2002 WS6 Trans Am complete dash into my 1995 Z28

here are some pics of what i had to do!

trans am power mirror plug on the left and camaro power mirror plug on the right! (i still haven't modified the harness yet to put the t/a plug on the camaro harness)

the camaro power window harness plugs right into the t/a window switches (no modiciation at all) and the power lock harness plugs right into the T/A switch

the factory camaro inner door skin (shell) i had to modify by cutting the mounting points for the camaro door panels off, due to them protruding out too far hindering the mounting of the t/a door panels.

i also took the square plastic snap in nuts (grommets) out of the pieces that i cut off, and drilled new holes in the inner camaro door skin (shell) to relocate the mounting points for the t/a door panels.
you can determine the new mounting points for the t/a door panels by hanging them on the door and taking a drill and drilling thru the factory door panel screw holes into the camaro inner door shell (skin)

Very cool. I've always thought the those door panels were
much better than the camaro.

Excellent Job!

When you get the dash in your Z-28 please post some photos. I've been thinking about this mod for a while.
