im trying to think how this would look.
a Satin (NOT FLAT) black trans am with gloss black tails, Ruff 278's (polished lip) a gloss CETA, gloss overlays, and a gloss Sail panel with darker tint. the sail would give it that look like real CETA's have where the whole top portion looks like one.

my car needs a new paint job soon. and im thinkin this would cost much. (2k maybe?) and i think it would look sick at night kinda like the batmobile.

anyone wanna throw in their thoughts?

im doing a theme similar to the 5 axis IS you posted. Im doing satin pearl with a candy bronze racing stripe. Wheels will be satin black spokes and a candy bronze lip. Im either doing this or candy red with satin accents. Dont know which yet! Main deciding factor is i want read and black interior!

Just my personal opinion but I dont think any car should ever be anything but a glossy color. Anything else looks like PRIMER to me, and very bad. I know others will disagree, but I cant stand it.

Well, i think it makes the car look really stealthy and sinister. If it were flat gray then ok, it looks like primer. But any other flat color looks ok. But, this isnt flat, hes talking about Satin which is half gloss half flat. I think it looks killer! Oh well, as long as its not on your car right?

i really like that first pic i posted. im not looking towards the gray looking satin. i want it a dark black.

people say that a car should only have a shine.
1st everyone that has a black t/a has a black t/a they all pretty much look the same. i wanna be different.
2nd its not gonna be as much of a pain in the *** to keep clean. i dont have much time to fully detail my car to perfection once a week.
3rd its still gonna have some sort of shine to it
