Default Yellow car...what color calipers?

So I'm either going to be doing either a CTS-V or C5 brake upgrade in the very near future, and have been debating what color to go with for the calipers. Yellow was my initial choice...but after looking at the car, and seeing a yellow C5 down the street from my work with yellow calipers, it's just too much of the same color for the car. Gloss black would work just fine, but seems a little plain, even for my "less is more" tastes. I was thinking of using one of the colors from the side stripes, possibly silver, for the caliper, and gloss black for the bracket. Red's kinda cliche, and I have no idea if it'd even look good with my color combo. Thoughts?

I ran across this pic on on the Corvette forum...just proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that yellow is not the color to go with.

My car, but you all already know what a CE looks like...

I think yellow is fine having black wheels it will really look good. If you had different colored wheels then I would say gloss black with a yellow decal.

i have a CETA. i am going with solid black wheels(since everyone over played the stock style, black with chrome lip) and going with CE yellow calipers.

but i am also trying to do bigger calipers like CTS-V or new ZR1

It is. Collector Yellow is a much paler color than Millennium Yellow, unfortunately.

Of this I'm aware. Which is why I'd be getting a set of CCW SP500s if I go the CTS-V route. It's really just a matter of whether I can justify spending $5000 on a wheel, tire, and front brake setup right now.

I think if you went with yellow you would have to match it to your car, then it would look weird. Black mite be the only way to go with your color.

Are you the same CSX thats on DSC?

Go yellow. Make them pop a little behind the wheels.
