yeah, i was curious about the door panels myself & the backseat status (though judging from the looks of that bar behind the front seats i would pity someone riding in the back) and otherwise looks good man.

Sorry Guys.. I was idle during the winter. Door Panels fit amazing!!! Everything has been awesome fit. I finished it up with some VHT Roll Bar paint. Works Wonders.

Sorry if i missed it... But did the door panels fit without problems or did u have to do some cutting to make them work...

I was just about to say the same thing. Good thing there are others on here that know what they are doing.

Ill say it just incase someone missed your post. Do not, i repeat DO NOT EVER cool structural welds with water EVER. This will make the weld very hard and brittle.

To the person that did this with their car. I wouldn't trust this roll cage one second to help with safety.

Rapid cooling will crystalize (sp) the weld but how much will that matter since you are welding to sheetmetal?

I thought the 7th and 8th points were the ones that tied into sub frame connctors. Or are those the 9th and 10th? When i get a cage, im definitely tieing them into my sub frame connectors. I thought about going all out and having the ones run down my a-pillar, through the dash, down into my front frame/radiator support and all that, but i didnt want to hack up my dash. All my uncles cars have it, and it looks nice except where it goes through the dash, and for a street car i think its kind of overkill. The main thing i wanted was overall structural stability.

if its all street, stick with the subframes. if you just want to stiffen things up, a 6 point is more than enough, IMO.
