Default a4 shifters
anyone know where to get some nice automatic shifter ***** and also anyone know if its hard to change to a whole diffrent shifter like b&m or somthing

They don't really make automatic *****. You can buy an adapter so that you can use manual shift ***** though.

Thats what i'm planning on doing. You can buy an adapter from thunder racing i believe. I think i'm leaning towards a hurst pistol grip, but thunder racing has some nice ones with different logos from our vehicles on them.
Edit: My bad. Its ws6store that has the adapter kit

wheres this adapter i cant find it :/ and what about like a whole aftermarket shifter assembly is that hard to change or what?

They make aftermarket shifters for auto's?

Couldn't that just be a B&M ****? I didn't know they made aftermarket auto shifters for our cars, but I've NEVER looked into it so I don't know. It does just look like a **** with a shift boot though.

you can fit the ratchet shifter on with some trimming. there's a lot of discussion about it in the automatic section of the forum. that's got to be the cleanest looking install i've seen.

Most people retro fit a4 shifters from other cars... I really like the pistol grip shifter but I haven't seen one in automatics.

Maybe some can post pics?
