I believe you need two 3mm LEDs for the odometer and ten for the monsoon head unit as well (need resistors too). Only thing I couldn't find was how to change the color of the display on the monsoon HU. Any thoughts?
*edit* While I'm posting about lights...which ones do I need to replace the side markers? I vht'ed them a little dark and am looking for something brighter. Thanks.

Anyone know what to use for a license plate LED? I just want to replace the existing bulb with a LED one to give it a whiter light, not necessarily brighter.
That's the main thing for now but I'm also curious about which ones I should use for my reverse lights. I want to do the same thing there.

Anyone know which bulbs would be the best fit for the rear tail lights, and reverse light? I tinted my tail lights, and need a little more output, since they got just a little too dark. Also, should I go with red or clear color? Thanks.

has anyone used the ones that look like that but in red for the tail lights?

any reason why the door lights wouldnt work but the other courtesy lights do?
maybe the lights need to be pushed in deceptively far (into the housing?)
ive got nice white lights now, but the doors are still dark.

I have used tape to tightly sandwich the old bulb in, then the tape grips the bulb and provides a handle to pull the old bulb out by hand without destroying it.
The courtesy lights are on a different circuit than the door lights. The door lights are wired to come on when the Parking lights and Headlights turn on. Another possibility is you might need to pull the LED and flip it 180 degrees to reverse the polarity. The door lights also have a red plastic embedded in the female end of the bayonet system, so even if you put a white LED in, only red light will shine through until you take a Dremel and drill out the red material
