Default 2010 Camaro styling (bumper) on a 4th Gen?!

Talking about redesigning the front of 4th Gens (and other parts of the car) to look like the 2010 Camaro. Bringing it up because I just saw the same thing for Mustangs...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1999-...=p4506.c0.m245

Don't know how I feel about it but I'm meeting with the company for other projects and have a 2010 Camaro bumper laying around for R & D so... Thoughts?

It'd be tough with the rounded roof line.

Not sure how I feel on this one. I think I'll wait for concept art before I jump the gun.

why? if you want a 5th gen buy a 5th gen, if you like the 4th gen buy a 4th gen. i don't really get the whole hybrid generation thing except maybe some of the C1 and C2 on C5 kits because buying a C1/C2 has become damn near impossible for the common man. but to make a 4th gen look like a brand new car? why?

Well, I like the 5th gen styling better but, so far, like the (I'll be it "crappier" ride quality) feel of the 4th gen.

Not sure I think this is good idea either and I'll pay to see a Dick Harrell bumper happen first but it peeked my curiosity...

I don't think it would look good. I mean, the 4th gen Camaro is more curvy and rounded up while the 5th gen uses sharp lines and flater platforms.

I just want that 5th gen style grill in abs plastic. Are you any closer on this one. I don't like the billet cause the bars are too close together.

Your targa top would change the shape of the a pillar, b pillar, and the rear hatch?

Edit: ... cause that's really what has to be changed to get the 5th gen look. That, and the doors, and rear half. So pretty much a little bit more than the front end.

I doubt it would look good on the 98+ cars because of the curves on the hood going back from the headlights. Theres no way to blend that, you'd need a new hood at least for sure on the 98+ cars. The 93-97 cars would be easier, but I still can't imagine it looking good. I'd still like to see pics, or at least a concept photoshop just out of curiosity however..

It might not be a good idea just because of the shape of both gens..If someone could redesign the bumpers on the 4th gen that would be great....comparing it to a corvette or cobra's rear styling the camaro got a fat ***!
