Default Remove Side Molding, or Not?

Should I remove the side molding by doors or leave it? Help me make a decision.
Thanks

I think the side molding on trams ams is a must-go, but i think the camaro's dont look any better with the molding removed. It could save you a couple annoying door dings.

I took mine off & like how it looks without, however make certain your doors & panels have not been painted! Mine was & the shop painted over the molding, so you can see a difference in shades in the four-inches behind the door in the rear 1/4 panel.

I took it off the silver camaro and it looked so damn good! I finally broke down and did it on my white 95 camaro and it looks great! I was worried and didnt do it for a long time because I thought that it would look like **** because the paint is 15 years old and I didnt want two different whites running down the side of my car. Ended up looking fine so I was very pleased with the results.

Plus the only thing its going to save your car from is another fbody...the molding is WAAY to low on our cars to protect the doors from anything bigger than our car, which nowadays, is every other freakin vehicle, that how I see it. The little dings I got in parking lots were always higher than the damn molding so it doesnt do much IMO.

Looks like I'll be removing mine this weekend.
Not sure if I want to remove the z/28 on the sides of the car though.
Hope my car was never painted at a shop. Guess we'll see.

soon? how about now!! lol..

just get a heat gun and warm up the side molding and just take some dental floss and just run it through and get that bad boy off. its just a small little appearance but it makes the car look alot better.

I like the look of the side moldings, I painted mine a different color and love the way it looks.
