i have five on my hatch and it's fine in daylight, but a little hard to see out of at night in certain conditions, most of the time i just roll my windows down and stick my head out to back up. it's pretty fail proof.

do you have any pics of the car from the side??? i have never seen or heard of someone double stacking 5% tint on windows

Also if you go with 5% that will help people from peeping in your car to look for anything that they can steal... loose money, wallets, I-pod, Navigation ect.
I have never gotten pulled over for 5% tint but i guss it all depends on where you live

I have 5 on the back and it is dark. You'll get used to it during the day but backing up at night is no fun.

I have no issues seeing but then again every vehicle i've ever had has had 5 % tint so maybe i'm just used to it.

My hatch window is 5%. At night, it can be tough to see things clearly, but I've become really good at using my side mirrors.

Had 5% on my 92 Z, got pulled over for it once, and I used my side mirrors to see what was behind me. I could barely see out of it at all.

Double 5% is retarded dark My buddy had that on his F150 and you could put your face right against the glass and you could not see inside. I have 1 layer of 5% and it isn't bad at all and you get used to it.

Daytime isn't the issue. It's at night when you're trying to back up. You have to open the door and lean out to see.

I've had 5% all the way around for 5 years now. As others have said, you'll get used to it. Although you might have to start rolling down the windows to back into a space or parallel park at night.

5% is almost impossible to see out the hatch at night.... I'll say keep in the 20% range...
