I have an LS1 SS but i'd take a 30th SS anyday. White on white with orange stripes. I say 30th SS > every 4th gen.... Especially with white 11" rears.

Googled and came up with this. Hope the owner doesn't mind

the lt1 hood is nicer but that's it (sunoco hood looks better than both anyway)...I hate everything else about them, the pointy front end profile looks like the way a small child draws a car

an ls1 without the grill looks a million times better...I hated 4th gens until the ls1 cars came out

I wouldn't keep a lt1 style car (even if it had a ls1 in it) if someone gave it to me.

lt1 body + ls1 power = best 4th gen camaro.

I may be bias, or maybe I'm just building my dream car....

I'd have an LT1 SS w/ LS1 SS Spoiler and LS1 slammed in it. Perfect combo.

I own both, but I have to say i'm partial to the looks of my LS1 SS. The LT1 front-end has sort of lost me over the years.

I honestly like both, but if I had to choose I would say the LT1 SS looks a little better. I like the side profile on the LS1 SS better though.

Either of the STOCK Z28's look like crap, they both need hoods...

I would say the LT1 SS looks better. Put a grille on an LS1 SS and it becomes closer but put the newer style (Whistler modded) LS1 headlights on an LT1 (I've seen it once) and the LT1 style looks REALLY killer.

Either way, I think LT1s get less love (in conversions) just because everyone knows they are older (car looks "newer" with LS1 stuff on it).

I think if they both were the same model year (magically) the LT1 would win in sales (especially if the dual headlights went away, they are the only thing that dates the car IMO)...

Yea, no reason to debate that if you can just say Ws6.

My vote, and the only one that matters, ls1 SS..

While I love both, the LT1 SS just looks way meaner IMO. So I'll go with that.

An LT1 SS with a few slight subtle changes can look killer.

Likewise with an LS1 SS, but the old LT1 body style is sharper.
