It's so difficult to tell what it is actually like from a picture.
Your tint place will probably have different % examples for you to see in person.
Personally, I went too dark on the rear window, and could of kept it lighter to see out easier, but still been dark enough to not see in. JMO.

Good luck

yea that looks good, i don't want to go too dark either because it might be weird with my manta stripe.

how is that % for blocking out the heat?

Heres my Pewter WS6 with 20% all around........

These pictures are to show you the difference with sun on it and not.

It looks darker when its overcast and black at night. Driving around in the day its perfect and not too bad at night but I do have to put my windows down to back out of my driveway so I can see the edge (no lights around).

It keeps the heat out really well. Its never too hot in the car, even if its sitting in direct sunlight for hours.

Having the windows dark really sets off the look too. You'll love it. 20% is perfect IMO.

You have to go with at least 20 or it looks half ***'ed IMO... Course I have 5% all the way around so I'm a little biased.

I think the lighter %s give a car a more "classy" look.. around the 20-35%..
IMO 5% does not look as good.. looks.... i dont know what the word is.. i guess maybe cheap? but not really..

i have 20 on rear and 35 on sides

I had 32% on my WS6 and I hated it. You can still see through the car and it doesnt really help that much.

I have 15% all the way around on my Camaro and I love it. Keeps the car cool and privacy is much better.

I agree. Some cars look good with darker tint, but not pewter it looks cheap imo. 5% on a black car is sweet...wouldn't do it on a pewter car though.

Got 20% all around. To me, 15-20% is perfect...But whatever you go with, it will be a nice upgrade from the glasshouse feel!

Sunny day

Cloudy day

Nothing but crappy cell phone pix, but you get the idea. Also, if a shop is doin it, make sure they offer a lifetime warranty and one piece tinting!!

15% on rear, 18% on sides. So.. basically like 20% all around I guess. I think it's perfect!
