you guys are completely missing the point.
kit cars arent usually used as drag cars, and arent meant to be really fast, so youre comparing apples to oranges.
kit cars are usually purely for looks, hence why Fieros are commonly used, and their stock motors are retained. The fact that this uses an f-body means you can have real power to back it up.
if you bought an f-body because of its looks then i wouldnt expect you to build this kit, but plenty of people like kits or like lamborghinis but dont want to spend $500,000 on one.
Theres a show on TV called "Kit Cars", the first season is over, but they build kits on there, and its pretty cool. they did a kit that converted a porsche boxter to a carrera GT, of course they did a cobra, a t-bucket, and some ugly *** truck. the concept is cool, but its not for everyone.
